TERMINALS AND SLEEVES

STRAIGHT RECEPTACLES

A prerequisite for a good connection is that the male tab complies with certain technical and dimensional characteristics (for 0.4 and 0.8 thickness in accordance with DIN 64244); if these conditions are not met, this could lead to poor performance with regard to current flow (resulting in a rise in temperature on the connections) and, from a mechanical perspective, objective coupling difficulties.

 Flag type RECEPTACLES

The prerogative of these products, which have electrical characteristics similar to those of straight receptacles, lies in the particularly small footprint; they are used where straight receptacles cannot be used and in applications where a wire output at a right angle to the connection is more practical. There are two versions of this terminal for the 6.3 range, one with an F-crimp and the other with a rolled crimp – which meets the needs for an even smaller footprint. Receptacles for the 2.8 and 4.8 ranges are also available for the latter version

 Open barrel crimping TERMINALS

They cover a comprehensive range of wire cross sections in the 6.3 – 4.8 – 2.8 ranges. One version of the 6.3 mm range has been designed for crimping on steel pins.

MALE TABS

They are used in the standard versions (6.3 – 4.8 – 2.8 mm) in all industrial sectors. This widespread use has made it possible to develop tabs for a wide variety of uses:

Compared to standard lamellar connection terminals, their main variant is the presence of a locking lance which allows secure locking once inserted into the insulating blocks.

This line of terminals is available in the following versions: 6.3 – 4.8 – 2.8.

SLEEVES

Every cable can be covered with an additional insulation :

RESISTORS

The resistor element is a resistive wire which is wound in a single layer on a ceramic rod, with tinned connecting wires of electrolytic copper welded to the end-caps. The ends of the resistive wire and the leads are connected to the caps by welding. The resistors are coated with layers of green color fiame-proof lacquer
